Alan Dempsey

Alan Dempsey is Chief Financial Officer of MARKA VIP, the leading online fashion e-tailer in the GCC region.  He was appointed to the role in April 2015*.
Alan has held Executive Finance positions throughout Europe before moving to the Middle East. His career spans a decade with CEVA Logistics the global supply chain company and more recently with Office Depot Europe where he was Strategic Director of Finance.

During his career he led transformational change working on a corporate carve-out from a Dutch listed entity that was acquired by Apollo Management (private equity company).  He latterly worked on the IPO preparation.  At Office Depot he drove process improvements in the E-commerce channel, product rationalisation and margin optimization initiatives.  His other accomplishments include systems implementation and BPO within finance.

Alan qualified as an account with KPMG Dublin.  Since 2001 he has lived in Netherlands, UK and Germany.
