Biography

With a 30-year career spanning multiple industries, Kurt Warren specializes in operational excellence, procurement, supply chain optimization, and logistics. He has an executive background in manufacturing, supply chain, operations and procurement and has worked in government, logistics, manufacturing, retail, consulting, research and higher education. Kurt has led projects resulting in lead-time reductions, productivity improvements, business process improvements and space reduction. Kurt is highly regarded for his teaching and mentoring skills, having taught and mentored students in the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East. He is also the author of many magazine articles and training literature, and a renowned speaker at numerous conferences and business workshops, with a passion to promote awareness to ethical best practices, supply risk management, and supply chain optimization.

Kurt holds an MSc in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, LL.M International Commercial law, fellowships with CIPS, IoSCM, CMI, CILT and a member of the American Purchasing Society and International Purchasing and Supply Management Institute, In addition to be a member of the CIPS MENA Professional Advisory Group (PAG) and a CIPS Direct Associate (Trainer) and Chief Moderator for the corporate award program. As well as being the Chairman of the Fellows Committee for the MENA region.

As mentioned his passion is supply management, from raising the risks and the ethical aspects concerning the supply of goods and services.
