Maratiukalam Siby Antony

After completing his MBA from the Cochin University in India (Siby also did an EMBA from Ashridge Business School, UK), Siby joined Federal Express as Business Development Manager for the MESA (Middle East and South Asia) Region. In 1988, Siby joined BP Middle East as a Manager-Supply Chain and was later promoted as Area Sales/Marketing Manager for the BP’e; Lubricants Business unit covering Middle East, North Africa, Levant and the Indian Subcontinent. In 1994, he became the Business Development Manager for emerging markets and successfully set up Joint Ventures projects in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Yemen.

In 1996, Siby was promoted as BP’sTrading Manager covering Refined Products Trading activities in the Arabian Gulf, Indian Subcontinent and Africa. Siby is well-versed in both oil trading and trading in Oil Futures. Siby’s expertise is in the areas of Trading, Risk Management, Oil Futures, Supply Chain Management and Joint Venture Project Management. In addition, Siby has excellent relationships with all the National Oil Companies in the Arabian Gulf and India, all the Oil Majors and a number of trading companies and is well recognized person in the oil trading industry.
In 2008, Siby left BPto run his own entrepreneurial oil trading venture, E3 Energy DMCC (Managing Director), and has made rapid strides in the trading area covering the IMA (Indian Subcontinent, Middle East and Africa) region.
