SANJAY DESAI

SANJAY Desai is a progressively grown professional with end to end Supply Chain experience in industries like FMCG, Automotive/ Oil/Gas, Pharmaceutical, Hi-Tech and Medical devices. He has worked extensively in many countries viz India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, China, Guam, Australia, Ireland and USA.

His supply chain management skills range from strategic to tactical decision making, transform / design supply chain models, drive change management at process and organisational level, help grow and develop large teams, handle demand and supply integration, 3PL strategy and enablement.

Sanjay’s last assignment was with Huntsman Inc as Director Supply Chain Asia. Prior to Huntsman, he worked with multinationals like ThermoFisher Scientific, S H Johnson, Dell Global, Apple Computer, Exxon-Mobil, RORER Pharma (Now AVENTIS) and UniLever Bros…Sanjay started his career in 1983 with UniLever as a Blue Collard Warehouse Worker and worked his way up to leadership positions.

Sanjay is an active speaker at various international supply chain events such as TERRAPIN, Eye for Transport, Innovative Enterprise, Supplychain Innovation, GTR Asia, Asia Downstream (Oil/ Gas) and LogiSYM Singapore.

Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Commerce with major in Industrial Psychology. He holds Master’s Diploma in Materials Management. He is a Certified CPIM practitioner from APICS. Currently he is pursuing CSCP (APICS)
