Sanjeev Dutta

Currently leading DMCC’s Commodities vertical, I have been with DMCC since its establishment and have been instrumental in building its award winning finance department (implementing DMCC’s Code of Corporate Governance and risk management processes), its Tea Centre and Tradeflow platform.

With over two decades of multi industry expertise in audit, consulting, risk management, corporate governance and general management as a Chartered Accountant with PwC and KPMG – and 12 years of both financial and operational expertise at the DGCX and DMCC itself – I most recently took on the role as Executive Director for DMCC’s Commodities vertical tasked with growing DMCC’s local and international commodity products, platforms and services.

From DMCC’s Innovation Hub; to the Tea Centre; through to Tradeflow; and the upcoming Multi Commodities Centre which will house DMCC Coffee Centre – I seek and nurture new business opportunities and fine tune current partnerships to ensure that DMCC remains at the forefront of global trade. I am also involved in actively expanding agri/softs trade business as well as in developing and enhancing mechanisms for trade financing for industry participants through the Tradeflow platform while ensuring precious metals and stones clearly underline Dubai’s importance as an attractive proposition and the perfect global gateway.

As a member of DMCC’s executive leadership team, I am responsible for contributing to the organisation’s general management, strategic direction and growth initiatives.
