Sanjiv Mehta

Sanjiv Mehta is the CEO  & Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), Chairman – Unilever – MENA, EVP : whole of South Asia. His wealth of managerial experience has been primarily in consumer goods businesses and for the last 20 years with Unilever, one of the world’s largest FMCG companies. Sanjiv has done his Bachelors in Commerce (India), Chartered Accountancy (India)and Advance Management Program (Harvard Business School).

He has lived and worked in India, Bangladesh, Philippines and Dubai. He began his career with the American Multinational Union Carbide (since merged with Dow Chemicals) and joined Unilever in 1992. With Unilever he has held various positions including Chairman & Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh (2002 – 06), Chairman and CEO of Unilever Philippines (2007 – 08) and for the last 5 years he has been the Chairman of Unilever – North Africa and Middle East region based in Dubai.

Unilever name is one of the leading consumer goods companies in the region and many of their brands are household names. A firm believer that ‘doing well’ & ‘doing good’ are two sides of the same coin he propagates the cause
